Marvel Rivals IS BACK!
After our incredible strides in the Closed Alpha Test (Click Here to read that article), I decided to put more time & effort into preparation for the games release.
I knew I was going to have to work really hard to improve and continue to make a footprint in the community as Marvel Rivals!
With the Closed Beta Trailer came a lot of news for the game's next playtest.
They had updated their website @ MarvelRivals.com & discord with news that it was coming & confirmation that I would be participating!
Being part of the Marvel Rivals Creator program has been an incredible experience & I think they are doing an amazing job with community building for this game!

After making some efforts to be noticed for the Marvel CC Program I received a notification that I was accepted into the Program! This was the biggest opportunity ever given to me as it opened an avenue to many things.
The Closed Alpha test was one of the most incredible moments of time in my twitch career as we broke records and pushed beyond boundaries in streaming that I didn't think was possible. It showed me that there is a light at the end of the tunnel if I work hard enough to get the results I seek.
We knew the playtests were only foreshadowing for release hype when it comes out so I made sure to take extra time to prepare for this shift so I don't repeat past mistakes.
Marvel Rivals Closed Beta Test (CBT) July 2024
We took this time to focus on learning the game on a deeper level. I played a lot of quick play and a lot of spectating pro lobbies to see how they play. I learned A LOT during this time and it allowed me to propel into a competent spot as we moved forward.
I played very little ranked, only did 4 play-sessions and was able to reach Top1% right outside Top500 in a small amount of time. I could feel that I needed more data to hit goals like Top50 so instead of mindlessly grinding ranked I took this time to study the pro players of my main characters even more and saw massive improvements.
We also saw a hype moment during the beta with Jeff the land shark & Thor being updated into the game mid playtest & I was the first person in the world to get a 6-player ultimate ACE to clutch a win (happened on my very first game right after the update).

Gamescom Build Playtest! Exclusive event for Marvel Rivals CCs/Pros & Gamescom Attendants!
This was the playtest where I got to put all the studying and practice to the test. I had the opportunity to play against some of the best players in the world during this test and performed really well for being in lobbies of that caliber.
We stuck to our current main character for competitive, Mantis & also tried out my Iron Man + other characters to see really interesting results.
My Mantis really held her own and had a presence in nearly every lobby. My Iron Man performed well but still had issues in some matchups. I did well with other characters that I'm comfortable with like Storm, Star Lord, Rocket Raccoon & Venom. Venom was very interesting because I did bad with him initially, but VOD reviewed the top Venom players & my gameplay to see what I was doing wrong, then the next time I tried him, I got MVP in a pro-level lobby.
I had a lot of interesting moments during the playtests, from massive traction in the CAT, to studying up during the CBT, to putting it into practice in the GBT. I'm really excited to put it all together and make a big impact on release for Marvel Rivals. I will be showcasing the game the best I can while also doing my best to be a respectable & entertaining player in the community.
And the Playtest Training Arc is concluded! We had many incredible moments during this arc & it was foreshadowing for what lies beyond in our journey! Thank you so much for being part of it!

Thank you all so much! I am worked really hard for what we are about to try to do & hoping that it all works out! It was a really similar feeling when I started MHUR & SB but this time it feels like we really got something special! We also have a plan to move forward with being a Variety Shooter player that is also an Official Marvel Rivals CC.
