Marvel Rivals came out of nowhere and completely took over!
When we first saw the trailer a few weeks back we saw the potential the game had but didn't set any real expectations.
We just knew this was something we wanted to try to get involved with & see how it goes because it seemed like a new game that fits my style of gameplay that we could all enjoy!
With the Trailer came a lot of news of sign-ups for the game's closes alpha test.
They had a fully fleshed out website @ MarvelRivals.com & while going through the website I learned about their content creator program that they were launching with the game!
I eagerly signed up & made a couple posts to try to get some attention towards the game & my efforts toward being part of it!
Becoming an Official Marvel Rivals Content Creator
After making some efforts to be noticed for the Marvel CC Program I received a notification that I was accepted into the Program! This was the biggest opportunity ever given to me as it opened an avenue to many things.
We immediately made drastic changes to the channel and a lot of research into what communities the program aimed for, where I stood amongst the other selected creators and how I could bring something different to the table.
It was at this point I decided to dive more into my unique VTuber aspects with Dance Skits & this new AI meme-music.
Day1 Marvel Rivals CAT May10th
We started pretty strong & had an amazing first night playing with friends I met in MHUR (Mochi#1). I invited them to play with me for the CAT & it was fun experience teaming up with them in a new game.
There was a $22,000 Tournament for the CAT via a clan/guild/agency system named "Factions". We formed a faction to enter this event named "HeroKage" (a play on being Heroes in MHUR & Naruto Hokage/Kage-Summit) and tried out characters to figure out what roles we wanted to play. I played a lot of Iron Man & Scarlet Witch because they were who interested me the most initially because of their aesthetics & Lore.

Day2 We started to really gain traction!
We got a lot of support from the Marvel Rivals community & started doing our CC Program CAT Key Giveaways which definitely gave us a boost on the channel. It brought in A LOT of new people & helped build the foundation for what's to come when Marvel Rivals comes back. We broke a stream record this day but it was only foreshadowing what's to come.
We took time this day to practice Support class and gravitated to Rocket Raccoon as he fit a playstyle I was used to from playing Spellbreak, Bloodhunt & My Hero Ultra Rumble. We practiced with my team a bit but also did some quickplay as in the CAT I was having serious performance issues due to how much power my stream takes to operate + the game being not optimized yet in closed alpha testing stage. (Which is totally fine considering how fleshed out the game was between the UI, Art, Physics, UE5, Factions, Developer events, CC Program, tournaments & ect. This was only the 1st test for the game which is ground breaking for a playtest)
Day3 We pushed even further!
We decided to go more into casual play with Quick-Play and trying out characters due to the performance issues I was having. We continued to grow and do what we were doing the previous day! It was a really wild experience! We had a lot of fun doing all sorts of stuff while exploring the game!
Day4/5 (My Birthday May 14th) The momentum was insane & it was my biggest streams of all time!
We continued our vibe with Quick-Play and trying out characters. Words can't describe how insane this all felt.
We got a lot support from the Marvel Rivals community! (SO AbelOnline, Dmoney, RevealingTooMuch & many others [I should have noted these all down, but the feed was going so fast I couldn't track it])
We tried Star Lord out this day and realized he might be my main character. His style fit me a lot & our community is "The Constellations" so it would make sense to main a lord of the stars.
Rocket Raccoon is likely still my main for competitive & tournaments as he fits my support style play (I love his movement) for a support role.
We had all sorts of fun skits and giveaways throughout the day which was a really fun time!
This was literally the best day of my life in gaming. We had so many amazing moments & it really gives me hope for my future in gaming!
Day6-9 We close in on the end of the Closed Alpha! (I took a few days off from streaming to rest)
Day6-10 was shorter or skipped streams & sessions going forward due to how exhausted I was from the record-breaking stream streak we had days prior. We took this time to make 2 Youtube Videos & they did very well!
We competed off-stream in the $22,000 Dawn of Legends tournament & placed 125/300+ Teams going 3-3 losing to pro OWL/LOL/etc. player teams. Overall, it was really decent with the lack of practice, experience & I was playing really poorly honestly in the crucial matches. We did really well if we consider the factors & I'm really happy we got to compete! (SO to HeroKage CAT Team ft: Shadow/Kiomaruu/Tofusaur/Cofi/Yawn/Myself & others as subs!)
We also played off-stream with a new friend @LadyRebellium (A VTuber from the SMITE Community)

The streams died down a bit but we still kept the hype when we got on!
Day10 We close out the Closed Alpha! (I took some days prior off)
Day10 was the final day of the Marvel Rivals Closed Alpha Test. After watching the $22,000 Dawn of Legends tournament the night prior the future for our place in the game felt very exciting! We made sure we got on even though we were kind of tired we still had plenty of exciting moments! (I started out a bit cloudy as I thought about leaving MHUR & figuring out our future)
We played mostly Star-Lord today and had a lot of incredible games! He definitely is one of my main characters going forward along-side Iron Man, Scarlet Witch, Rocket Raccoon & Luna Snow. (I haven't found a tank role I enjoy yet; I might avoid tank role for now)
And with that the Alpha Test is concluded! We had many incredible moments during this arc & it was foreshadowing for what lies beyond in our journey! Thank you so much for being part of it!
What happened with My Hero Ultra Rumble?
My previous blogs cover our journey & ultimately things have been on a decline the entire time. We did everything we could with the game and need to start looking into new endeavors for entertainment.
I'm extremely grateful for everyone who supported our journey in MHUR! Looking forward to our future as we move into Marvel Rivals, FF14 & the journey I am on in truly becoming a VTuber Star!
