Discovering an Isekai VR MMO in 2025 with FF14 VR!
During my Variety Arc with VR Games we decided to try out Final Fantasy 14 in Virtual Reality via the Flat2VR Mod for FF14. It ended up making huge waves for me in a way I didn't expect gaining a lot of attention for something Brand NEW that many people have always dreamed of but never thought would happen. We were able to actually experience playing a VR MMORPG in 2025 with Final Fantasy XIV VR!
What was meant to be a visit trying out something interesting turned into something magical that started a whole new journey for me. It all started with a single TikTok post!
After this post went Viral, I decided to make a YT video out of the experience to see what would happen if I shared it on YouTube. It did GREAT!
From there I decided to continue the series, doing it mostly weekly on Saturday Nights. The streams honestly did poorly but the content that came out of those streams made it all worth it! The Shorts on TikTok/YT & the Let's Play Videos on YouTube were consistently popping off!
It was a really exciting moment in my career as a content creator because I never had much success outside of streaming but doing this series allowed me to gain some serious momentum to push past 1,000 followers on TikTok & nearly 2,000+ Subscribers on YouTube. This allowed me to unlock TikTok Streaming & opened up the possibility to monetizing my YouTube. (at the time of this article we recently started TikTok Streaming and are about to be able to apply for monetization on YT!)
Guiding others toward FF14 VR!
The most asked question I recieved in a lot of my comments was how I was able to play the game in Virtual Reality. So I decided to take some time to make a well recieved guide on how they could get FF14 VR.
After making the guide I continued to do let's play content with the game sharing videos and shorts of our adventure in FF14. One thing to note is that the development team has hindered this community with strict regulations against mods, something that within the genre has become more standardized by other MMO titans like World of Warcraft & Runescape (with developers supporting these options allowing it to be played).
I think the FF14 scene has been unfortunately forced into thinking this is okay when it is something that has handicapped the scene and caused many players and more specifically the content creators to move on to different games and WoW (because they would want to be playing with mods on but can't do that while streaming or they would risk getting their account banned. I made a fresh new account and only used VR/TTS mods to showcase positive aspects of these mods and the accessibility factors that make the game more engaging) I hope the developers realize what their game is truly capable of and make changes to have the game to bring things to a whole new level for FF14 & the MMO Genre!
Playing an Isekai VR MMO was something I have ALWAYS wanted to do so it was something really special to me that really changed everything for me with gaming. This was without a doubt one of the most fun experiences I have had with making content, it just became very difficult because I was not really making something sustainable here due to low stream numbers and my YT not being monetized at the time. I do look to continue doing content on it, but when I have time due to how much work & setup there is involed with this type of content. It's a side quest that will continue but at a pace that works for me.
At the time of this article we have weekly FF14 Videos being posted all the way until july, the streams have been moved to recorded sessions and I will still look to do videos on it to continue the series on the side.

WoW VR - World of Warcraft Virtual Reality Honorable Mention
We also tried out WoW VR! Honestly this mod is less polished then FF14 while at the same time offered new/old features that were lost when FF14 VR had to be remade after the DawnTrail update! It was cool but I like FF14 a bit more. Still an interesting experience which I shared on YT here.
With this our Variety Transition Arc 3 + FF14 VR (main-game) Arc has concluded! We are now preparing for Splitgate2 at the time of this Article along with our "Return to Gaming IRL!" Series that is coming soon!
Future Blogs to expect! Splitgate2 & IRL Gaming!
At this moment in time, June 2025, We plan to have fun this summer with Splitgate2 & Returning to IRL Gaming. Expect to see streams and videos of that content throughout the summer as move forward in life with gaming. I am going with the flow and doing what works best for me while keeping my CC values in order.
What else is next?
Splitgate2 Streams & VTuber x IRL Gaming/Anime VLog Videos are my next main content I want to try doing on my YT, as previously mentioned toward the end of my last blog I have a couple cool ideas to get my old vibes going in a new age with intergrating my VTuber into IRL Gaming for unique content. Keep an eye out for these on YouTube & make sure to follow my socials & Discord to keep up to date on everything I am doing! I will also squeeze in FF14 VR when I can but expect this to slow down by a significant degree due to the time it takes to produce this content efficiently.
The future is constantly shifting for me, looking for where I belong in gaming while keeping my routes close to my heart. I talked more about it in my previous blog but I am going to do what feels right going forward. I still will showcase new games, but with a different vibe & direction. I will continue to play games that I find interesting while sticking to the ones that resonate & doing what I can to bring the hype to those moments. It's a difficult path due to the gaming market meta we are in, with constant adaptions and changes being made to keep up with it all & remain stable. I still full-heartly believe that with hard work and effort it will all pay off, "you just have to believe that you can be a hero!"
