Post "Marvel Rivals CAT Arc" :: Variety Transition Arc 2 - Part 2[Q4 2024]
Finding our footing & new role as a VTuber!
After trying a lot of Variety (See Part1) I wanted to try re-visiting the games that helped me get started with a new vibe & outlook on how to look at them. We ended up hosting a few My Hero Ultra Rumble events & visited Spellbreak for the first time on stream in almost 14 Months.
Part of what brings me joy in gaming is the positive community aspects they bring. I really enjoy being able to bring many people together from different walks of life to share their love for same interests. From
Smash Bros to present this is something that I think makes me, me.
It started with going back to our roots while doing it from a new perspective. I decided to run a "Stacked Solos" event similar to the events that got me started in Spellbreak from ixiTimmyixi but for My Hero Ultra Rumble (something that the community didn't have anything like). The event was a huge success and we had a lot of incredible matches.
October Activities
In-between these events I tried streaming various games and had interesting results.
We did a few more small playtests which got decent traction but when I tried to make a big switch to Fortnite, a game that I should be streaming because of my genre choice, my traction plummeted.
The reality is I made a name for myself making huge impacts in games similar to Fortnite, with an audience who shared a similar interest in newer lesser known games that all moved on from Fortnite.
Halloween Variety
We visited a few games for Variety which was a really fun time regardless of my traction. We got to do some spooky Apex Legends, Call of Duty, Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodhunt & Halo: Infinite.
We did a "Spooky Solos" Event for MHUR which also was a really great time. More incredible matches & silly theatrics throughout the night!
Visiting Spellbreak - Elemental Fracture
We planned a visit to try out Spellbreak again. I had help from a few friends including SuperiorAxolotl who was massive help in showing me all the new changes to the game. I was able to learn about the new additions with equiptment + passives, class & gauntlet reworks, physics changes and much more. We did a couple custom matches to test the waters and had a pretty nice experience playing.
The entire session was a nostalgia trip that really reminded me of where I came from, how I never really went that hard on a video game ever again (due to being a content creator the time I would normally put into practice & gathering data now gets put into keeping up with trends & innovating content). I'm hopeful that in Marvel Rivals I can find a nice balance between what I did with MHUR & SB that will allow me to have a better impact then anything I've done in the past.
Part2 - November 2024
After our experience in Variety & my visits to Spellbreak & My Hero Ultra Rumble. I realized that those games resonate with me in a way that let's me really express myself. As much as I would love to stream Fortnite & other top titles, at the current time, I can't break through the barrier that is keeping me from playing them (being a successful content creator in those categories). It comes from a lack of experience, history & consistency playing them which effects the overall activity.)
Shortly after these few sessions (we were really inactive streaming at this point doing a lot of prep for Marvel Rivals), I was contacted by Kiomaruu from Mochi in My Hero Ultra Rumble to host a Pro Scrim in preparation for the 1st Official MHUR Event happening the next week. We did a Sports Festival Royale event & it was the hypest event yet! It was a massive turnout with some of the strongest players in the game coming out to play & practice for the upcoming tournament!
I just want to take a moment to highlight the LVL50 Halo Event that happened this same weekend hosted by Chris Puckett.
MLG was what put me on my initial path in gaming & something I never got to truly experience (I never got to go to an MLG event but I did get to play in Halo on LAN a few times). I will always appreciate this scene & really hope that Halo can make a huge comeback one day with Halo Studios & Grassroots organizations like what Puckett did to do throwback events that bring all the old veterans together.
It was a really incredible year with some of our biggest strides and hardest moments at the same time. Overall, it felt like a lesson in my role in gaming & what I need to be doing in order to succeed. Now it's a matter of making it all happen! The first objective being getting my YouTube & other social media as active as my Twitch. Starting with YouTube content I'll talk about below.
Part3 - YouTube Content, Getting into VR & The COUNTDOWN to Marvel Rivals!
After all the events I had a huge downtime of roughly 6 weeks to prepare for Marvel Rivals. With the Objective of getting my YouTube & other content more active I spent roughly 2-3 Weeks working on 4 YouTube Gaming videos that at the time of writing this article hasn't been released yet. I put my heart and soul into some of these videos speaking on my knowledge of the current gaming market. They are some really insightful videos that touch subjects not really talked about in the perspective that I have & I hope they are videos that people will really enjoy!
At the time of writing this Article we configured our new VR setup (Thanks to LoveMyVibes for making this possible). Currently in testing & really looking forward to getting more into VR FPS games one day! (will edit this later)

And with that our 2nd Variety Transition Arc has fully concluded! It was a long hard trip but gave me a lot of insight on how to move forward! Thank you so much for being part of it!
What are my plans for Marvel Rivals?
I want to make a big impact on the community similar to how I did for Spellbreak & My Hero Ultra Rumble. It will start with making my footprint by aiming for top ranks. Goal is currently for Top50 on the leaderboard as it feels like something I can accomplish if I put enough effort in.
Once we solidify our position I will look into collaborations, events & commentary for the game. YouTube content will be mostly gameplays with some additional content that I was lacking in MHUR (guides, overviews, reactions, ect).
