Variety w/ Marvel Rivals, Halo, Splitgate, MechaBREAK & more leading into a mini-MHUR Redemption Arc!
Around this time we decided to visit Marvel Rivals for the first time since we stopped playing the game back in early 2025. It was a really fun experience seeing what they have done with the game since I was gone. The developers really are great for this game & It was nice to see all the new stuff they added. MR really is a game I have mixed feelings playing because I love a lot of aspects of the game but just never was too into the OW-style gameplay that it emulates.
I have a feeling this game is going to continue to innovate itself to stay relevant and it will always be a game we check on. Realistically it just wasn't a game I was meant to grind, the channel really did take off when we stepped away to dive into the future of gaming. Still would love to do more with it and appreciate everyone I met thru this game and the huge leaps we took as a creator playing it. Going to continue hopping on it randomly with new updates & play with some friends.
We also had some fun checking out Halo & Splitgate around this time. We also got a really neat Coaching session from @HeyItsGaleeee (#1 Welkin Player in NA) in MechaBREAK & had a fun session.
We Also did some Halo2 with @ShyDuska around this time with the campaign and had a wonderful time!
Mini Fortnite Arc - PRE MHUR LADY NAGANT RELEASE!
We checked out Fortnite w/ anime skins :) Did a bunch of viewer games and nice filler vibes here.
MHUR Redemption Arc - LADY NAGANT RELEASE!
I came back to the game right before the patch and practiced with Deku & Ochaco for Lady Nagant. I posted one gameplay video of it on my YT of a pretty good game that sums up the vibe for this moment in time.
I WAS SO HAPPY! "Lady Nagant is who I want" - Kairi Season1 MHUR. Lady Nagant was my top requested character that I asked for in the feedback multiple times. Shortly after our last article, She was added into the game at the end of Season 13. This caused me to get a lot more into MHUR and had it as our main game for another month or so. We also played a lot around the holidays (right before my PC broke and everything changed). It wasn't one of our biggest moments traction-wise but happiness and joy it definitely was my favorite time ever playing MHUR.
Lady Nagant ended up being a really awesome design character with a playstyle that reminded me of Spellbreak a bit (her gamma being a launch angle of a tempest shot, her beta being conduit sorcery, her primary felt like fast fireballs/ice shots.) and her sniper reminded me of the Halo2 Sniper but with GGO Gun-Sightline which I thought was a cool touch.
We had the time of our lives playing Lady Nagant but MHUR is MHUR and the tides shifted quickly as the meta became more unstable and other issues. I realized also that a lot of the core MHUR community really is gone and it's an entirely new wave leading things. It's a hard scenario for me to navigate through. I really love playing this game and wish I could do more with it. We will continue to visit it "when the time is right" with updates/hype when we can.
Splitgate2 / Arena Reloaded!
Splitgate2 launched the SAME DAY as Lady Nagant. It was unfortunate timing but I did my best to split the time early on for launch weekend. We didn't get as much traction and in a way I was a bit distracted with finally getting Lady Nagant in MHUR but we still had a great time playing the game & seeing the new version. I don't want to talk about the gaming market & how things went with the game as it would be repeating myself. "New Game Syndrome"
I do want to talk about how awesome these developers that have interacted with me have been, taking direct feedback and putting it in the game (they fixed the hybrid input bugs I forwarded to them) & giving me opportunities like the Splitgate MVP Events. We did 2 events early on for this game. The first event was really fun (it was a $5,000 CC Event, I got on Team Mikaveli w/ EliX, MoonJuice & Obysdianyte - 2nd Place!).
I also think Arena Battle Royale was a good idea but needed more time in testing/qol upgrades & if it was in the game on the original launch might of been a lot better. The 2nd event was a little more random testing out the new BR mode & didn't go well for me (BR event, random teams, bad games/rotations).
This is a game I did my best to support but there wasn't much more I could really do. Definitely will play it again in the future "when the time is right" & always going to have some love for this game. Splitgate gave my channel a new start that helped propel me to have strong momentum throughout the entire year. I met some awesome people playing it & I will always appreciate what this game did for me.
Variety Finale of 2025 - Pre-PC Breaking (MHUR, Fortnite, Splitgate, DragonBall)
We stayed pretty active doing our usual games while looking for what was next. It was a really nice time where I was content that I wasn't a massive streamer but we had a consistent crowd showing up to most sessions. It gave me hope that with this base would could really build to get things finally into something sustainable going into the new year. Only for things to take tragic turns out of nowhere which killed all my momentum I have had built in 2025.
Early January my PC Broke, the power supply went, and with it, an era on my channel. With some help from @DEMONINK1 & @MoleValleyRat we were able to get my PC up and going again. It took roughly a week or so to get it back. In the meantime we did some scuffed single PC streams (dual PC setup) & played some RuneScape.
Runescape was a game I played for years growing up that I never really got to into after high school so it was a really nice nostalgia trip which restarted my journey over there. I haven't played too much but it's nice to be able to hop on there again and go around the world.
2025 was one of our most successful years streaming! It showed the possibilities & my resilience to find a way to keep the momentum up even if things are not working out.
